Mlm Business Opportunities - Are There Any Good Ones?
I have researched these business opportunities and I can honestly say that there are some good ones amongst the majority which never make people any money. Well run MLM business opportunities are not a scam, however, you must do due diligence as is the case with any business you may get involved with. So how can you tell the difference between a poor MLM opportunity and a good one? Here are some pointers: What is the pedigree of the company behind the business? Check the accounts of the companies - are they financially stable? How long have they been trading? What is the google rating of their home page? Are real products being sold to real people? Product pricing - make sure that the product is priced competitively. Look for ones that offer a residual income stream. Evaluate how the MLM company markets their system and money making potential. If they are making outrageous statements or saying that it is possible to make a lot of money without serious effort then avoid it at all costs! Make sure you talk to existing members in your neighborhood and ask them up front if they are making any money… If there are none in your neighborhood (within an hours drive) walk away! Try not to enter an MLM business in its infancy but on the other hand it would not be advisable to enter once the opportunity has been a hundred percent established.
Maybe the best advice would be to wait at least a couple of years from the point a new business is formed before entering the scheme. In all types of businesses the customer is King! If the customer is getting a decent product at a fair price then the chances are that you could be onto a winner. Bear in mind that the products sold will have to be at an equivalent price of the supermarkets unless they have some unique selling points. If the majority of people make more money through recruiting other people than they do selling products make sure you do not get involved. In some countries businesses that make money mostly by recruiting other people without many products being sold are heavily frowned upon by the legal system.
An MLM business is just like any other opportunity. No matter what the literature and the marketing brochure say… it will still be hard work and more demanding than any job. It will require selling to family, friends and strangers. Can you handle direct sales? Have you any ideas on how to evaluate an MLM Business Opportunity?.
